코끼리 머리를 한 인도의 신 가네시의 탄생과 어린 시절 모험을 그린 3D 장편 애니메이션. 파르바티 여신은 남편 시바가 자신의 거처에 마음대로 들어오는 것을 막기 위해, 충직한 수호자로서 아들 가네시를 창조한다. 어린 가네시는 어머니의 명령을 지키다 아버지에 의해 목이 잘리는데, 시바는 그의 목숨을 되살리기 위해 코끼리 머리를 대신 붙여 준다. 인간의 몸에 코끼리의 머리를 갖고 부활한 가네시는 이제부터 숱한 모험을 겪으며 성장하게 된다.
